I fell in love with the health and beauty field when I landed my first job in a Westport, Connecticut, nail salon doing manicures and pedicures. Loving what I do made going to work every day effortless. One day, I received a call from my childhood friend in Atlanta who was getting married and wanted me to fly down for the weekend. After just one weekend in Atlanta, I loved it so much I wanted to relocate. With two hundred dollars in my pocket, I moved and made Atlanta my home.
Upon arriving in Atlanta, I took a good long look at my life and what I wanted for my future. After working in health and beauty for more than 20 years, I decided it was time to sharpen my business skills. I took a business course at a school in downtown Atlanta. After school, I landed my first job as a receptionist and later in the customer service field for a large Fortune 500 company.
In an effort to expand my network, I joined the local Toastmasters’ group where I earned my Competent Communication (CC) Certification. After realizing how much I enjoy public speaking, I decided to pursue a degree in Communications at the University of Phoenix. Shortly after, I started thinking about my life and how I wanted to do something that would bring joy to myself and to others. So I began making natural products, soy candles, soaps, lotions, bath salts, etc. Making natural products is what I am passionate about and what makes it easier for me to get out of bed every morning. I am eager and humbled to have the opportunity to share my passion with you!
